The Mary Carroll Caton Chapter of the Maryland DAR has requested the MDSSAR Color Guard present the colors at their 75th Anniversary meeting on October 26th in Catonsville.
The Maryland Society Color Guard had the honor of presenting the Colors at the Maryland Daughters of the American Revolution 107th Annual State Conference and a photo with President General: Merry Ann T. Wright and Maryland Regent: Ruann Newcomer George!
The photographer Brian Quillin took many photos of the event here. The photo gallery is password protected, however, and the password is "Revolution" (no quotes).
The Carrollton Manor DAR Chapter submitted an application to their National Society to award our member Bruce Champion the DAR Historic Preservation Award. It was approved and was presented at their Chapter Meeting on September 19, 2012 with the help of Congressman Roscoe Bartlett, MDSSAR Lou Raborg, and Carrollton Manor Regent Tara Lampman Boulden and Chapter Registrar Liz Deering.
