Gratitude To Pat Barron For SAR Chapter Service

Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) Chapter President (2014-2015) George Lewis presented SAR Compatriot Martin L. “Pat” Barron with a limited edition SAR wine set in appreciation of Barron’s “mid-year acceptance of the very challenging position of Chapter Secretary of the largest SAR chapter in Maryland”.  In ceremonies at the SAR Chapter’s 95th Annual Meeting, Lewis acknowledged the Frederick resident’s  “vast management experience, communications skills, research and genealogy expertise, and leadership talents in the challenging and time-consuming volunteer role.”

The Sergeant Lawrence Everhart Chapter of the Maryland Society of Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) recently honored Frederick resident Donald Deering with the SAR’s Chapter Medal of Distinguished Service.  The Chapter Medal of Distinguished Service is the highest medal that can be awarded by a Chapter President.  The medal was presented at the SAR Chapter’s Annual Meeting held at Dutch’s Daughter Restaurant.

The Sergeant Lawrence Everhart Chapter of the Maryland Society of Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) recently honored Jefferson resident George Lewis, DVM  with the SAR’s Chapter Meritorious Service Medal.  The Chapter Meritorious Service Medal is awarded to SAR members who have rendered long, faithful and meritorious service to their chapter.  The medal was presented at the SAR Chapter’s Annual Meeting held recently at Dutch’s Daughter

The Sergeant Lawrence Everhart Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution presented its coveted Eagle Scout Award to Eagle Scout Joseph Dirndorfer in ceremonies at the SAR Chapter’s Annual Meeting conducted recently at Dutch’s Daughter Restaurant in Frederick. Dirndorfer is a member of Boy Scout Troop 268, chartered by the Bush Creek Church of the Brethren in Monrovia.
