Compatriot Bruce Champion Receives the DAR Historic Preservation Award

The Carrollton Manor DAR Chapter submitted an application to their National Society to award our member Bruce Champion the DAR Historic Preservation Award. It was approved and was presented at their Chapter Meeting on September 19, 2012 with the help of Congressman Roscoe Bartlett, MDSSAR Lou Raborg, and Carrollton Manor Regent Tara Lampman Boulden and Chapter Registrar Liz Deering.

Old St. Paul's Cemetery Grave Marking

On Sat. April 28th members of the DAR, SAR and 1812 Society dedicated markers in Old St. Paul's Cemetery, in Baltimore, to Patriots Joshua Barney and John Eager Howard. President Raborg and Past Presidents Christos Christou and Edward Foreman all spoke.The event was also supported by past Presidents David Hoover, Ivan Dooley and the Maryland Color Guard. 2012 Annual Meeting

The 2012 Annual Meeting marked the end of President Dooley's term of office and the installment of 1st Vice President Raborg. The meeting was held at the B&O Railroad Museum in Baltimore, MD.
