In fulfillment of the "patriotic, historical and educational" purpose of the Sons of the American Revolution, Sergeant Lawrence Everhart SAR Chapter Compatriots officiated at the annual Frederick County History Bee, sponsored by the Frederick News Post and the Law Offices of Scott Alan Morrison on Friday, April 8th.  SAR Chapter Immediate Past President George Lewis served as a judge in the competition for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students, and Compatriot Richard Foot was a proctor, posing questions to the students.

History Bee questions and research were prepared by the Historical Society of Frederick County, whose Executive Director, Mary Boswell, served as a judge.  Boswell is pictured with Senior History Bee Judge Frances Randall.
