250th Anniversary Celebrations

Chairman Charles Bogino spoke about the Committee organized to help coordinate the celebration of the 250th Anniversary events. Please remember as we continue to celebrate these events (at your chapter, state and nationally), your members participation may be rewarded with a medal. Just attending can get you enough points to receive the bronze medal over time but if you chair, actively conduct or participate, you can earn the Silver or Gold (or additional oak leaf clusters for the medal).

Back in 2015, Frederick Chapters of DAR and SAR held the first 250th Anniversary celebration of the Repudiation Acts. Those who attended or helped organize it can already add in those points to their resume along with any subsequent 250th Anniversary events.

These can be issued by the Chapter or State. The bronze medal is approved by the Chapter President and the Silver is approved by the State. Only the gold needs to be submitted to National.

Thank you for your anticipated participation in 250th Anniversary activities.  Let's make us proud and participate. Don't forget to work with your local CAR and DAR Chapters too.  Non-SAR members may also be awarded these medals
