YES! AND MOST OF IT HAPPENED RIGHT HERE IN ANNAPOLIS!
Attached is the photo taken on Nov 24, 2014 awarding the Flag Certificate of recognition to Jerry and Sue TePaske, who live in the Tantallion Community of Fort Washington. This flag display is quite unique as it is flown from the deck in the rear of the house facing the Potomac River for all to see always waving in the wind as can be seen in the picture.

The War of 1812 Society in the State of Maryland invites members of the Sons of the American Revolution to participate in our Annual January Jackson Day Celebration on January 17
th. Please feel free to send this invitation along with your January announcements as we are happy to host your January breakfast and meeting at the MD Club prior to this luncheon again this year.
The Col. Nicholas Ruxton Moore Chapter held a great meeting at Ryleigh’s Restaurant in Hunt Valley Maryland for Veterans Day.
George Satterthwaite, Secretary, John Hanson Chapter, presented the SAR Eagle Scout Certificate of Recognition to Isiah M Burroughs, at the Boy Scout Troop 1572 Eagle Scout Court of Honor on November 15, 2014 at St Mary's Church of Piscataway. Eagle Scout Burroughs compiled a distinguished record up the ladder to Eagle earning 36 merit badges and organizing a youth ID Fair wherein he provided fingerprint IDs to 68 children of all ages. He will graduate from high school in June 2015 and attend college.
